Charlie Lawrence, P.G., C.HG.

Mr. Lawrence has over 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. He is a California Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist and holds both a B.S. in Geological Science and an M.S. in Hydrogeology. His experience includes oversight of environmental compliance at multiple UST programs for Major Oil Companies across California and Arizona. He has conducted numerous investigations/evaluations in the greater San Diego area including: site assessment, natural attenuation studies and complex regulatory case closure negotiation for petroleum hydrocarbon impacted sites, subsurface and preliminary endangerment assessments, fracture pattern analysis and production well installation, injection well evaluation/rehabilitation, and assessment of chlorinated solvents; and managed a large-scale groundwater feasibility evaluation in Baja, California, Mexico.

Jon Philipp, P.G., C.HG.

Mr. Philipp has over 8 years of experience working on environmental projects at sites including RCRA facilities, chemical manufacturing and bulk storage facilities, and all types of petroleum sites. His project experience ranges from the general evaluation of site-specific hydrogeologic conditions, the direction and management of project teams performing site remedial activities, and the design and implementation of remedial actions utilizing the full range of technology options. Recently, Mr. Philipp has focused on the detailed hydrogeologic evaluation of a complex groundwater system in support of a water rights claim, and continuing technical support for environmental managers at a petroleum refining facility, specifically regarding system optimization of LNAPL recovery and hydraulic control of petroleum product migration.

David R. Provance, P.G.

Mr. Provance has over 17 years experience providing technical oversight and project management services for a wide variety of environmental projects. He has served as the technical lead and client/agency interface in negotiations with numerous Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies. His areas of expertise include site characterization and remediation, environmental database management, and the development of 3-dimensional groundwater flow simulations and contaminant fate and transport analyses using MODFLOW and MT3D. His work experience has involved numerous investigation and remediation activities at chemical manufacturing plants, CERCLA sites, RCRA facilities, US Department of Energy and Department of Defense projects, as well as work at various petroleum sites ranging from retail facilities to bulk fueling terminals.
