Project Name:  Dairy

Project Location:  Imperial County, CA

Project Description:  The Source Group, Inc (SGI) completed the environmental assessment of a major dairy to determine compliance with existing regulations in the Colorado River Basin. The project involved extensive record review, data collection and compilation, updating of Nutrient Management Plan, development of Engineered Waste Management Plan, review of ground water monitoring system, as well as training on record keeping and reporting.  The SGI team provided analysis of  pending regulations, completed application for coverage under new permit, met with owner, operator and regulators, made recommendations on infrastructure changes (such as recycling of coolant water), installation of new solid separator, and construction of new wastewater storage.
