Project Description I
Sampling & Training
The training expertise provided by our agricultural professionals is at the highest level in the industry.
Mrs. Pomaville was one of two individuals responsible for development of the educational program for nutrient management in the state of North Dakota. Throughout the development of the curriculum, Mrs. Pomaville was introduced to and developed relationships with many of the industry leaders in waste, nutrient and feed management. As a result, Mrs. Pomaville was selected as an industry representative and provided input on the writing of the national curriculum for feed management.
This multi-state effort involved several key university professionals, such as Deanne Meyer, University of California Extension. Through the years, Mrs. Pomaville has also provided waste and nutrient management planning services in various states, including Wisconsin, Utah, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Arizona.
We have effectively provided training to producers and producer-designated personnel regarding manure management and record keeping activities for several dairies in the central valley. The Source Group has also developed and implemented a sampling and data management program to assist producers in California in complying with the WDR requirements. Additionally, this sampling and data management program has been implemented to assist producers in complying with CNMP requirements established by the NRCS.
