Phase I Environmental Assessments
Typically required for property transactions and financing, a Phase I Environmental Assessment involves the evaluation of potential property liabilities including: on-site hazardous waste contamination, off-site liabilities, and site specific regulatory compliance. Based on the information gathered during a Phase I assessment, The Source Group will prepare a comprehensive report summarizing the findings, provide professional opinions regarding the potential for environmental problems at the site, as well as make recommendations for additional work, if necessary. All reports are prepared in accordance with ASTM Standard E 1527-00.
Phase I includes: Site walkthroughs, historical aerial photograph and document reviews, reviews of chemical use and storage records, state, county, and local record reviews, personnel interviews, asbestos and lead based paint inspections, and report preparation.
