Program Description: The Source Group currently provides remedial investigation, remedial design, remediation system and operation and monitoring services at 35 UST sites and a former oil refinery for a Southern California based refining and marketing company.

Remedial design and remediation programs have encompassed a wide variety of insitu and exsitu treatment approaches including groundwater extraction and treatment for plume containment, separate phase product recovery, dual phase extraction and bioremediation designed to effectively address petroleum hydrocarbon and MtBE impacts to soil and groundwater.

Treatment technologies utilized include thermal and catalytic oxidation, carbon adsorption and air stripping. In addition, we manage all their UST environmental services in accordance with the state UST cleanup fund and assist them in recovering significant out of pocket expenses.

Results: The client consistently turns to The Source Group to provide pragmatic, sensible and cost effective approaches for their UST sites and we are their number one consultant in California servicing the majority of their sites.

We are routinely brought in to troubleshoot problem sites where previous consultants have failed to meet the client's expectations or are incapable of addressing complex technical and regulatory challenges. We have helped recover over $1.5 million from the state reimbursement fund for this client since 1997.
